Welcome to Soignébyk: A Letter From Our Founder

As an entrepreneur, I know just how overwhelming and confusing it can be to pursue big dreams. The idea behind Soignébyk came about 3 years ago when I was in college studying for my Associate's Degree - we were required to complete an assignment as apart of our Consumer Law course for the creation of a business plan. Initially, Soignébyk had a much different concept and I did indeed pass the assignment, however, it left me thinking a lot about entrepreneurship and from there my research began.

I knew I wanted to start a business that allowed me to be creative, that encompassed my two greatest passions, writing and stationery. I always had a love for planners and staying organized, for stationery generally but my hometown didn't exactly have what I would call "aesthetic" stationery supplies and I would always find myself complaining to my friend about that actually, there was never any cute and functional stationery, it was all so drab and unappealing. So, when you can't find something, you make it yourself.

When I first started Soignébyk, there was so much I didn't know and to be frank that really scared me. Being from a small island where building a brand wasn't necessarily the focal point of political conversation , I began to doubt whether I was even capable of running a business. In the end, I pushed through my self-doubt because I knew this was something that was needed by those who were like me and after much planning and a whole lot of trial and error Soignébyk was born - a beautifully created lifestyle and stationery brand providing high quality paper and stationery products.

Thank you so much for supporting my business and watching us grown along the way. We are in the business of planners, paper and making dreams a reality so it's only appropriate we say thank your for setting our dreams into motion.

xoxo, Rikaela🤍
